Simulated system, is a media installation that defies “Nature’s” conventional meaning and greenery, displaying it at the same level as technology. With the help of macro cameras and screens, the visitors experience a microscopic and computer-generated nature, displayed through different media.
This book extends this project and echoes how this cross-media installation was realized. The book is divided into different chapters that contain the initial research, experimental phase, sketches until montage, and gallery installation. The main task was to restructure an experimental artistic process and translate it into a book. The media installation aesthetics inspired the layout, typography, and colors.
